Redeye listened and identified some knowledge gaps within photographers at the whence of their career and has created a new professional minutiae undertow tabbed It’s Your Business. Covering invaluable skills on how to uncork and manage your business, pitch for work, present your professional identity, plus how to write about, walkout and publish your work, we are proud to present these sessions. In November, the National Photography Symposium 2018 will moreover be delivered by the Redeye team in partnership with the University of Salford. During three days, over 20 compelling experts will encourage conversations well-nigh three strands: 1. Cultural and Social Shifts, 2. The impact of technology within the industry and 3. Wider political and legal issues in photography. There has never been a largest time to wilt a Redeye member. We support our network in their own projects and encourage a number of member-led events through our timetable of events, including Allie Crewe’s exploration through gender and transformation, and Illuminate Hull's originative wringer of Hull’s Capital of Culture. The calibre of ‘evening with’ photographers we have secured is unchangingly an insightful and heady element of the programme, this time featuring Ingrid Pollard, Rut Blees Luxemburg and Chloe Dewe Mathews. As a socially enlightened visitor and one single-minded to serving the polity in which we live and work, Redeye is passionately collaborating with the inaugural International Arts and Homelessness Festival, through a skills swapshop and an exhibition working with people facing homelessness. There are many highlights through the Autumn/Winter programme and we keenly invite you to peruse it at your leisure. We are really pleased to be worldly-wise to launch it today and have worked nonflexible in providing many self-ruling or subsidised events. Let the education, creativity and fun begin. Save the date: National Photography Symposium 2018 Posted 4 July 2018 Redeye is delighted to be returning with the next National Photography Symposium (NPS), its biennial event, this year held at the MediaCityUK wiring of the University of Salford. The Symposium will be held over three dynamic and engaging days, 1-3 November 2018.   Project Legacy 2018 - Illuminate Posted 2 July 2018 Illuminate, a photography organisation aimed at providing a network and a platform to quality photographic practice in Hull, is run by Verity Adriana and was co founded with Anna Bean.
