All proceeds from works sold will go towards supporting the non-profit activities of the Royal Academy of Arts, Tate and the Field Editions partner organisations (Open Eye Gallery, Impressions Gallery and Redeye Photography Network), sharing a particular focus on nurturing the next generation of talented artists worldwide. The joint acknowledges the important role that versifier editions play in supporting non-profit institutions. NFP Editions will present a diverse and high-quality selection of work, ranging from new photography through to limited editions made in a variety of traditional and trendy mediums. Works start from £500, providing opportunities for new and experienced collectors to purchase limited editions made by internationally renowned artists. Launching the collaboration at EXPO CHICAGO this year, NFP Editions will showcase top names including Georg Baselitz, Tracey Emin, Jenny Holzer, Gary Hume, Joan Jonas, Cornelia Parker, Grayson Perry, Sophie Rickett, Ben Rivers and Helen Sear. Tim Marlow, Artistic Director, Royal Academy of Arts said: "We are joining forces with Tate and Field Editions to present a unified hodgepodge of limited editions for the first time at EXPO CHICAGO. The selling of limited edition prints is a powerful mechanism by which not-for-profit organisations such as ours can raise much-needed revenue. The Royal Academy of Arts receives no government funding and is artist-led and run. Our strong relationships with these artists have unliable us to build a substantial portfolio of original limited edition prints which helps to fund our not-for-profit making activities, in particular the RA Schools, Britain’s oldest art school, where postgraduate art students are still worldly-wise to study fee-free." Maria Balshaw, Director, Tate said: "Tate limited editions help support the work we do at Tate. Our exhibition and displays programmes, slantingly the Tate Collection, present us with wondrous opportunities to work with a diverse and international range of artists. Our hope in creating these works is to enable the public to live with some of the most important artists of our time." Anne McNeill, Director of Impressions Gallery, Bradford said: "Impressions Gallery, Redeye and Open Eye Gallery are delighted that Field Editions, supporting photography in the north, has joined forces with leading visual arts organisations Tate and the Royal Academy, to present affordable photography prints by some of today’s most remarkable and renowned photographers. The profits from Field Editions go towards Impressions, Redeye and Open Eye’s future programmes, including supporting and nurturing both the talent and career minutiae of the outstanding photographers of tomorrow." NFP Editions will full-length in the Editions + Books section of EXPO CHICAGO, The International Exposition ofTrendy& Modern Art, 27–30 September 2018 in Navy Pier’s Festival Hall.
